We landed around 7:00 AM on August 15th, the first stop was our Hotel, The Infantes Sagres. Since we got there early, we waiting in the lobby for a bit before our checking in.

Since the lobby was a bit cozy, we were getting sleepy, we decided to explore the area.

After our room was ready, we decided to freshen up before heading to Livraria Lello bookstore.

The night finished with dinner at Antiqvvm that my girlfriend planned for my birthday.

On Sunday, we took the train to Trinidade, as we wanted to check out Castro, for Pastel de Nata. Since we were in this area, we decided to check out the area. They also had the streets closed off. I do believe there was some sort of biking event that was going to take place the next day.

Later that evening, we took a sunset cruise on Douro River. We ended the night at an Italian restaurant called A Despensa

Before leaving for Lisbon, we checked out Majestic Cafe. While we were impressed with the decor, the pastel de nata wasn’t as good as the other ones we had. Our recommendation would be to try local bakeries vs the tourist attraction places.

On the way back to the hotel, saw this sign.
